Rotorua, Queenstown, Te Anau

Rotorua

We spent a few days in Rotorua, the cultural hub of the Maori. One day rained like I have never seen - rivalled Vancouver at it's worst. From there we went to the glowworm caves - these little worms cling to the roof of the cave and glow this beautiful blue colour.
We are now in the south Island, in Queenstown and Te Anau. We did a 20 km hike yesterday. Sore feet today!!! It was beautiful though. The weather is still good, but cooler. Like Vancouver in the fall.
We are on to Sydney in a few days.
